Accessibility
Draft statement — under review.
Our commitment
Traders' Hub wants its website and learning materials to be usable by people with colour vision deficiencies, low vision, blindness, hearing impairments, motor disabilities, and cognitive or learning difficulties. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Conformance status
The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Partially conformant means that some content does not yet fully meet the standard — the known limitations are listed below.
Using the accessibility settings
At the top of every page, next to the language button, there is an “Accessibility” button (a person icon). Select it — or reach it with Tab and press Enter. Press Escape to close the panel.
- Text size — choose 100%, 115%, 130% or 150%. Text across the whole site grows.
- Colour theme — a light or dark background.
- High contrast — dark text on plain backgrounds and stronger borders. Works with both themes.
- Underline links — every link is underlined, so links stand out without colour.
- Reduce motion — stops animations, rotating slides and the moving market ticker. If “reduce motion” is already on in your device settings, the site follows it automatically.
- Increase text spacing — more space between lines, letters and words for easier reading.
- Reset to defaults — undoes every change in one step.
Settings are saved in your browser only — no account needed. They are extras: the site is built to work with screen readers, keyboards and browser zoom without them, and there is no special mode to switch on first.
What we have done
- Text colours checked for contrast (at least 4.5:1) in light and dark themes, keeping the brand colours.
- The whole site works with a keyboard; focus is always visible; there is a “Skip to main content” link.
- Menus and dialogs manage focus correctly and close with Escape.
- Form errors are shown in words, linked to their field, and read out by screen readers.
- Price rises and falls are shown with a sign (+/−) and an arrow (▲/▼), not by green and red alone.
- Content that moves by itself has a pause button and stops when reduced motion is on.
- Pages declare their language correctly (ka, en, ru).
Known limitations
- Some video lessons do not yet have captions or transcripts. The player supports both — the material is being added step by step.
- Some market charts (candlestick charts, sparklines, competition charts) do not yet have a text summary. The correlation table, the market-map tiles and the Fear & Greed gauge do have text alternatives.
- PDF certificates and downloadable materials have not yet been checked with screen readers.
- Third-party services — Cloudflare's security check, the YouTube/Vimeo players, the Luma events calendar, TradingView widgets and chat windows — are not fully under our control.
- Internal staff and admin dashboards have not yet been audited.
How we tested
Automated checks (axe-core) on the Georgian, English and Russian versions in light and dark themes; keyboard navigation; a range of screen widths including 320 pixels and 200% zoom. A full screen-reader review has not yet been carried out.
