Student Investment Fund
The Student Investment Fund is a joint hands-on educational project of Grigol Robakidze University and Traders' Hub that lets students apply their theoretical knowledge in a real investment environment.
Through the program, students progressively learn how financial markets work, the fundamental and technical analysis of companies, building an investment portfolio, managing risk and making decisions.
In the first stage, participants complete specially designed theoretical and practical training. They then join the fund-management process, where — working as a team — they research companies and financial instruments, prepare investment ideas, present their arguments and take part in decisions about the portfolio.

Within the fund, students take on roles and responsibilities modeled on a real investment firm:
Managing real capital
A key part of the program is managing real investment capital, which gives students genuine responsibility and helps them develop the skill of making professional decisions.
The program's main goals
The project aims for students to:
- Gain practical experience in finance and investing
- Develop analytical and critical thinking
- Understand the relationship between risk and return
- Build teamwork and professional communication skills
- Prepare for careers in finance, investing, banking and capital markets
Gruni Lab is a practice-based model of education that connects the academic knowledge gained at university with real financial markets, letting students start building professional experience while still studying.

Research & pitch
Students analyze companies, build a thesis and pitch it to the group before any capital is committed.
Execute & manage
Approved ideas are traded on a live Interactive Brokers account. The team monitors positions and manages risk together.
Report & learn
Every position is tracked transparently, and students publish written reports on what worked, what didn't, and why.
