Anthropic's valuation equals 1 trillion dollars

Anthropic, the creator of Claude, is preparing to go public on the stock exchange. The company has already filed a confidential application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Following its latest investment round, Anthropic's valuation has grown to $965 billion. According to experts, the company's value could exceed $1 trillion during the public offering of shares. This makes Anthropic one of the most valuable companies in the artificial intelligence sector.

Claude still lags behind ChatGPT on the market, though its market share is growing steadily. As of March 2026, Claude holds approximately 10% of the market. According to the company, its models are developing rapidly and can handle complex engineering tasks.

Anthropic's CEO Dario Amodei is calling for stricter regulation of artificial intelligence. According to him, such technology requires the same level of control as medicines, automobiles, or aircraft, as it can have an impact on cybersecurity and national security.

Currently, Anthropic is working with the U.S. administration on the security aspects of its new models, Fable 5 and Mythos 5. The company's financial data will become known to investors at least 15 days before the IPO.
