Ark Invest Predicts Significant Bitcoin Price Growth

According to investment company Ark Invest, Bitcoin's price could potentially reach nearly $800,000 by 2030.

According to the forecast from Ark Invest, founded by Cathie Wood, Bitcoin's total market capitalization could reach $16 trillion by 2030. In this scenario, taking into account the number of bitcoins in circulation, the price of one bitcoin would be approximately $800,000. This represents a 1,125% increase compared to its current price.

The company links its forecast to several factors. According to Ark Invest's assessment, in the future, large investment funds will allocate a portion of their assets to Bitcoin. Additionally, its use could increase as an alternative to gold, particularly during periods of economic and political instability.

The company also expects that more state and private companies will add Bitcoin to their reserves. Ark Invest's forecast also takes into account growth in the use of the Bitcoin network, including for conducting direct financial transactions.

However, it should be noted that achieving a $16 trillion market capitalization may be less realistic. Such a figure would exceed the current combined value of Nvidia, Apple, and Alphabet.

The role of Bitcoin as "digital gold" is also questionable. In 2025, when investors were seeking safe assets, gold's price increased by 64%, while Bitcoin's value declined by 5%. Accordingly, Bitcoin has growth potential, but a rise in its price to $800,000 by 2030 seems unlikely.
