US and Vietnamese companies to sign several major agreements

American and Vietnamese companies are planning to announce several agreements in the energy, aviation, technology, and finance sectors. This concerns 29 agreements that could be signed during the visit of Vietnamese leader To Lam to New York.

In the energy sector, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Murphy Oil are working on agreements. Their partners will be Vietnamese state-owned energy companies.

In aviation, Vietjet is planning to lease 22 aircraft. The company is also preparing a deal with SpaceX, under which Starlink satellite internet will become available on 120 aircraft.

Among the technology agreements is Meta's collaboration with Vietnam's Ministry of Culture and Qualcomm's agreement with state telecommunications company VNPT. Visa, Mastercard, and Citibank are preparing new partnerships in the financial sector.

The announcement of the agreements is expected at a business conference scheduled for September 23, coinciding with ongoing trade negotiations between the US and Vietnam.
