ASML discusses supply risks due to mask's new project

ASML, the world's leading manufacturer of equipment used in semiconductor production, states that Elon Musk's new project, Terafab, creates both opportunities and additional challenges for the company. According to the company's leadership, the main task will be to receive new orders while ensuring that the delivery process for existing clients is not disrupted.

Terafab is Musk's large-scale project aimed at manufacturing chips needed for Tesla, SpaceX, and other companies. Implementing the project requires significant technological resources, including specialized equipment manufactured by ASML.

ASML is the only company in the world that possesses this technology necessary for producing the latest generation of chips. The company confirms that collaboration with Terafab has already begun, but notes that maintaining balance between production capabilities and client demands will be one of the key issues.

According to Christophe Fouquet, ASML's Chief Executive Officer, similar projects create growth opportunities for the company, but it is important that this does not harm the existing supply chain and does not create additional pressure on production capacity.
