China Holds Leading Position in the Global Robotics Market

Artificial Intelligence and Robotics: China's Industrial Advantage
In the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, increasing importance is being placed on which countries have stronger production capabilities and industrial resources. China stands out significantly in this direction.
Although the United States continues to lead in the development of modern microchips and software systems, China has gained considerable advantage in robot manufacturing and the supply of components required for them. According to investment company Alpine Macro, American companies are primarily focused on developing technological systems, while China is strengthening its manufacturing and industrial directions. This allows the country to reduce production costs and test new systems more rapidly.
The Chinese government has declared robotics and artificial intelligence systems operating in the physical environment as one of the main directions of national development. Billions of dollars in state support have been allocated to this sector. According to data from the International Federation of Robotics, China uses approximately 295,000 industrial robots annually, while in the United States this figure is approximately 34,000.
Specialists note that such scale allows Chinese companies to refine technologies more rapidly. For example, Unitree Robotics manages to reduce robot prices alongside production growth.
At the same time, China maintains a significant role in the market for basic materials and components essential for robots. China holds a substantial share in the production and processing of materials required to create high-power motors and robotic systems.
