The European Union Approved the Acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount Skydance

The European Commission has approved Paramount's acquisition by Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery for $110 billion, though the company must meet several conditions.
Paramount must terminate its existing agreement with Universal Pictures, under which the companies jointly worked on film distribution in cinemas. Additionally, Paramount cannot enter into a similar agreement with Universal in Europe for the next 10 years.
The company is also prohibited from transferring the distribution of Warner Bros. Discovery films to its own distribution company. The European Commission's goal is to ensure that competition in the European cinema market does not diminish following the deal.
