Franklin Resources' Crypto Strategy Ahead of New Financial Report

Franklin Resources is publishing its third-quarter financial results, with investors focusing their attention on the company's direction in digital assets, particularly monitoring whether the company managed to reduce the impact of capital outflows from Western Asset Management.
Analysts expect Franklin Resources' earnings per share to reach $0.66, with revenue projected at $1.76 billion. The forecast shows growth compared to the previous year's figures, though results are likely to be weaker than the previous quarter.
Despite net outflows of $1 billion from Western Asset Management, the volume of assets under the company's management increased to $1.79 trillion. This was supported by long-term investments of $18 billion.
Against the backdrop of pressure on commission revenue, Franklin Resources is seeking to expand its operations. The company acquired 250 Digital, a cryptocurrency asset manager, and created a new division for institutional clients.
The upcoming results will show how justified this move is and whether the company can use revenue from digital assets to balance the weakness in its traditional business.
