Google is Adding New Personalization Features to Google Search and Google News

Google is adding new features to Search, Discover, and Google News that allow users to choose their preferred topics and information sources.
One of the new features is Preferred Sources, which enables users to mark their preferred websites. Content from such sources will subsequently appear more frequently in Google's Top Stories, AI Overviews, and AI Mode. According to the company, users have already selected more than 600,000 different sources.
The changes will also affect Discover. Users will be able to indicate in their own words which topics or links they want to see more often and which less frequently. Google will remember these preferences and tailor content to the user's interests.
In the Google News Android application, users will be able to select the topics for their daily audio digest themselves. Each article will include the information source and a link to the full story.
