Three more tankers damaged in the Strait of Hormuz

Three more tankers have been damaged in the Strait of Hormuz. According to Iran's Revolutionary Guard, two vessels struck sea mines, while a third caught fire. At least five similar incidents have been recorded in the strait since the beginning of the week.
In October, 35 ships were damaged in the Strait of Hormuz, the highest figure since the war began. On Wednesday, one of the tankers was hit by two unidentified projectiles.
The situation remains tense, despite ongoing talks between the US and Iran. Qatar is serving as mediator. The parties are also discussing the future of the Strait of Hormuz, sanctions, and Iran's nuclear program.
