London Watson's market capitalization reached $2 billion on the New York Stock Exchange

Chinese Londian Wason New Energy Tech's shares began trading successfully on the New York Stock Exchange. On the first day, the company's market capitalization reached $2.01 billion, making it the largest IPO of a Chinese company in the United States in over a year.
The Shenzhen-based manufacturer's shares opened on the exchange at $26, while the placement price was $22. Through the initial public offering, the company raised $94.3 million.
In recent years, the number of Chinese companies on U.S. stock exchanges has decreased. This is due to strained relations between Washington and Beijing and tightened control over Chinese companies.
Londian Wason produces copper foil, which is used in lithium-ion batteries, electric vehicles, 5G devices, electronics, and energy storage systems. Demand for this product is growing especially as electric vehicles and technology required for artificial intelligence expand.
Analysts are drawing attention to another circumstance. In 2025, approximately 64% of Londian Wason's revenue came from five major clients, so it will be important for investors to see how well the company can expand its customer base and maintain revenue growth.
