Meta makes AI agent Muse accessible for small businesses too

Meta Platforms is also rolling out its AI agent Muse to small businesses, integrating the platform with business tools such as Shopify, QuickBooks, Stripe and Canva. The company's goal is to help business owners manage daily operations and find new customers, as Meta works toward reducing its reliance on advertising and diversifying its revenue.

Through Muse for Small Business, users will be able to connect the AI agent to Instagram professional account analytics, Facebook Pages and Meta advertising accounts. The system also integrates with platforms such as Asana, Box, Dropbox, Figma, Klaviyo, Notion, Slack and Zoom.

According to Meta, Muse can be connected to dozens of business tools, enabling the AI agent to work with a company's brand, online store, financial data and customer records. At the same time, the company emphasizes that Muse will not publish content, send messages or make purchases without the user's consent.

Using Muse for core functions is free, while paid subscription plans will also be available for those seeking additional capabilities.

Meta introduced Muse earlier this month, initially as a personal AI agent capable of performing various tasks on behalf of users. These include online shopping, booking travel, sending emails and making payments.

Within a few weeks of its launch, the app climbed to top positions in free app rankings in the US and Canada. According to market research firm Sensor Tower, the app had approximately 2.8 million downloads in its first two weeks.

Meta's shares rose more than 1.4% in premarket trading on Tuesday.
