Meta Unveiled AI-Powered Digital Assistant

Meta has introduced a new tool, Meta Business Agent, designed to help companies streamline communication with customers and simplify the sales process. The service operates on WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.

Meta Business Agent can answer customer questions, suggest products, schedule meetings, and complete sales transactions in multiple languages. According to the company, the tool is already being used by over a million businesses.

The system integrates with platforms such as Shopify, Zendesk, and Shopee, enabling it to perform specific actions on behalf of the business. At this stage, the service is free and accessible to companies of various sizes, though paid packages are planned to be added in the coming months.

Meta Business Agent provides business owners with brief information daily about messages received overnight. In the future, additional functions such as market research, calendar management, and product-related analytics will be added.
