Microsoft's Annual Developer Conference Will Focus on New AI Capabilities

Microsoft is hosting its annual conference for software developers on Tuesday, where the company will unveil new tools and technologies in the field of artificial intelligence.

At the event planned in San Francisco, Microsoft's Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella will discuss the company's AI strategy and explain how Microsoft plans to strengthen its position both in the cloud services market and in the personal computers sector.

Special attention will be given to so-called "agentic AI" — systems that enable multiple artificial intelligence agents to automatically perform various tasks. OpenClaw, an open-source program, has gained particular popularity in this direction, especially in China, and has somewhat contributed to the growth of Apple's Mac computer sales.

However, similar AI tools also present certain risks for companies, which is why analysts expect Microsoft to introduce new security mechanisms to make the use of such systems more reliable for businesses and for the more than a billion Windows users.

The conference is also expected to provide additional details regarding Nvidia's new chip, which serves to integrate artificial intelligence capabilities directly into personal computers. The new technology will be used in premium-segment laptops and will compete with Apple's high-end devices.

The market is also awaiting updates about Microsoft's own AI models. The company is actively working in the direction of programming automation and code generation, where it competes with OpenAI's Codex and Anthropic's Claude Code.

According to analysts' assessments, Microsoft is seeking to further strengthen its own position in the artificial intelligence ecosystem and offer developers new tools that will significantly simplify the use of AI both in cloud infrastructure and on personal computers.
