Nvidia's AI Chips Possible Smuggling to China - Three People Arrested in Taiwan

Taiwan prosecutors suspect that three individuals managed to smuggle at least one shipment of Nvidia's artificial intelligence chips to China via Japan.
According to Bloomberg, the case involves Super Micro Computer servers containing advanced Nvidia AI chips. These servers allegedly reached China by circumventing export regulations.
Taiwan's Keelung District Prosecutors Office arrested all three individuals last week. They are charged with document forgery in order to officially register the export of the servers.
Authorities recovered approximately 50 servers, though at least one shipment had already passed through customs control.
Jensen Huang called on Super Micro Computer this week to strengthen compliance procedures.
This case once again highlights the problem of AI chips reaching China in circumvention of U.S. export restrictions, an issue that has already prompted stricter regulations in several countries.
