Perplexity Uses Nvidia's New Processors

Perplexity Uses Nvidia's New Processors for Artificial Intelligence Agents. As artificial intelligence develops, companies now require different types of computing resources.

According to Perplexity's statement, its artificial intelligence agents will operate on Nvidia's new central processors, Vera. This represents an important direction for Nvidia, as the central processor market has previously been dominated mainly by Intel and AMD. According to the company's forecast, revenue from Vera chips could reach $20 billion by the end of the current year.

Interest in the new processors is explained by the fact that artificial intelligence agents perform complex tasks independently and require constant computational resources. According to Perplexity's data, Vera processors execute coding tasks approximately 1.5 times faster than standard chips.

Nvidia's new processors are not used only by Perplexity. OpenAI, Anthropic, and Oracle also plan to use them. This trend indicates that the development of artificial intelligence is changing demand in the chip market as well.
