Porsche has sold its stake in Bugatti Rimac for €1 billion

Porsche has sold its stakes in Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Group. From the deal, the German automaker will receive approximately €1 billion, or $1.2 billion.

Porsche owned 45% of Bugatti Rimac and 20.6% of Rimac Group. After the deal closes, control of Bugatti Rimac will pass to Rimac Group and its new investors.

The company explains the sale as part of its focus on its core automotive business. Recently, the company has been affected by declining demand in China and a slowdown in the transition to electric vehicles.

Following the deal, Porsche also raised its 2026 forecast. The company now expects a net cash flow margin of 5.5% to 7.5% in its automotive business, compared to its previous forecast of 3% to 5%.
