Security Vulnerability Discovered in Apple's Chips

Cybersecurity researchers have discovered a new security vulnerability in the chips of Apple's Mac computers, which could potentially allow unauthorized access to confidential information from devices under certain conditions. According to the Wall Street Journal, the vulnerability is known as "Mythos" and is related to the technical architecture of Apple's processors.

According to specialists, the vulnerability lies in the data pre-processing mechanism that is used to accelerate system performance. However, researchers say that this process itself could create a risk through which access to cryptographic keys becomes possible.

In their assessment, this case differs from a typical software bug because the vulnerability is directly related to the technical structure of the chip itself. For this reason, it is difficult to fully fix through standard software updates alone.

Apple states that the company has already begun work on additional security mechanisms. However, specialists suggest that these additional security measures could potentially slow down device performance to some extent.

Researchers also note that exploiting this vulnerability in practice is difficult and requires advanced technical knowledge. Nevertheless, the discovery has once again raised questions about the security systems with which Apple has distinguished its devices over the years.
