Elon Musk's Company Launches New Model Designed for Coding, Finance, and Law

xAI, an artificial intelligence startup, in partnership with Cursor, has introduced a new model called Grok 4.5. This is the first joint project between the companies since SpaceX acquired Cursor for $60 billion.

The new model aims to simplify and accelerate work processes in the fields of programming, finance, and legal services. With this move, Elon Musk's company is seeking to compete with Anthropic and OpenAI.

Grok 4.5 is designed for complex and time-consuming tasks. Its primary focus remains software engineering, though the model extends to other areas as well. Particular attention is being paid to cybersecurity.

Musk previously acknowledged that his company lagged behind competitors in the coding space. This was followed by certain changes and closer collaboration with Cursor.

For xAI, this step represents an attempt to attract business clients and strengthen its position in the artificial intelligence sector.
