Tk Accelis began trading on the German stock exchange

Thyssenkrupp's subsidiary tk accelis has listed on the German stock exchange. This is one of the largest IPOs in Germany in 2026.

Thyssenkrupp distributed 49% of tk accelis shares to its own shareholders, while retaining a controlling stake. The company buys, processes, stores and supplies steel and other metals to customers. Its clients include Airbus, BP, Tesla and Volkswagen.

tk accelis employs around 15,500 people. The company's annual sales total €11.4 billion, representing nearly a third of Thyssenkrupp's total revenue.

According to Jefferies' estimate, tk accelis is valued at between €2.6 billion and €4.8 billion. The company also plans to expand its operations in the US.

By listing separately on the stock exchange, tk accelis will be able to develop more independently at a time when the number of mergers and acquisitions in the metals trading sector is increasing.
