Venezuela supplies almost half of its extracted oil to the United States

Venezuela sends nearly half of its extracted oil to the United States. This was stated by Kyle Haustweit, Deputy U.S. Secretary of Energy, at an event held in Houston.
According to him, Venezuela produces approximately 1.25 million barrels of oil daily, of which more than 500,000 barrels in recent months go to American oil refineries.
As Haustweit explained, these refineries are specifically built to process Venezuelan oil, which is why American companies actively purchase this raw material.
According to him, the situation in Venezuela is improving to some extent, and the country continues to fulfill existing contracts.
