Visa Offers Banks and Financial Companies a New Digital Platform

Visa has introduced a new platform that simplifies the use of stablecoins for banks and financial companies.
The Visa Stablecoin Platform, or VSP, consolidates the issuance, storage, and transfer of digital currencies in one space. In its initial phase, the system will support Open USD.
With the help of the platform, companies will be able to create and use digital wallets for payments, settlement, and fund management. According to Jack Forestell, a Visa representative, the company's goal is to offer clients a secure and simple way to work with stablecoins.
The system includes built-in mechanisms for detecting fraud and suspicious transactions. Banks will have the ability to link their own accounts to digital wallets and determine which operations will be permitted.
Currently, the platform is operating in test mode and is only available to a few clients. The date of its opening to the general public is still unknown.
