Cloudflare Creates Payment System for AI Agents

Cloudflare has introduced new services that will allow artificial intelligence agents to make purchases and process payments on behalf of users. Following the announcement of the news, the company's stock price increased.

Through Cloudflare Wallets and cloudflare.pay, each agent will have its own digital profile, which will help companies determine which person or organization is behind a specific application.

The user will store funds in one main wallet and create separate wallets for individual agents. They will also determine how much the agent can spend and which companies it can make payments to. The system also provides for receiving and storing stablecoins.

According to Cloudflare's CEO, Matthew Prince, such control is necessary because artificial intelligence agents are beginning to perform real purchases on behalf of users. Wallet naming is already possible, while fund deposit and withdrawal functions will be added in the coming months.
