Donald Trump Urges Oil Companies to Lower Fuel Prices

US President Donald Trump has criticized oil companies and demanded that they reduce fuel prices.

Speaking to journalists, Trump stated that against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in Iran, companies' revenues have increased sharply, with profits in some cases being twelve times higher compared to the previous year.

According to him, steps taken by the administration, including the restoration of oil supplies from Venezuela, have provided the sector with additional opportunities to increase revenues.

The president believes that under these conditions, companies also have the opportunity to reduce fuel prices. The statement was made ahead of congressional elections scheduled for November. Rising fuel prices and increasing cost of living remain one of the primary concerns for voters, creating political risk for the Republican Party.
