At this stage, the use of real money is not envisioned, although the company is considering this possibility in the future. Meta plans to leverage its own multi-billion user base to promote the new platform.

Interestingly, as Meta disseminated information about these plans, the stock prices of companies such as Robinhood and DraftKings declined noticeably on the exchange.
