Mistral and HUMAIN Develop Artificial Intelligence Systems in Saudi Arabia

French Mistral AI and Saudi Arabia's state investment fund's HUMAIN are implementing a joint project worth hundreds of millions of euros. The companies plan to develop artificial intelligence models in Saudi Arabia and create the necessary technical infrastructure for their operation.
Within the scope of the project, Mistral's models will be adapted to local needs, while data processing and storage associated with them will be possible in Saudi Arabia. Through this approach, the country aims to reduce its dependence on foreign technology companies and their data centers in the field of artificial intelligence.
This collaboration will enable Mistral to utilize the technical resources available in Saudi Arabia for its own artificial intelligence models and expand its operations in the region.
HUMAIN is already collaborating with NVIDIA and plans to deploy artificial intelligence systems for up to 600,000 over the next three years. The company also has projects with xAI, AWS, AMD, and Cisco.
