Novo Nordisk plans to launch more than five new major medications by 2030

Novo Nordisk has unveiled a new development plan for the coming years. The Danish pharmaceutical company plans to launch more than five new medications by 2030, each of which could generate over $1 billion in annual sales.

The company's goal is for sales of medications currently in development to reach 150 billion Danish kroner by 2035. Novo Nordisk will expand its research into obesity and diabetes treatments, as well as other diseases.

Novo Nordisk also plans to increase production of oral GLP-1 medications taken in pill form. The company's goal is to provide such treatments to ten times more obesity patients by 2030 and to supply its medications to more than 60 million people worldwide overall.
