Samsung Introduces New Memory Chips for Artificial IntelligenceSamsung has unveiled new memory chips specifically designed for artificial intelligence applications, marking a significant advancement in AI hardware infrastructure.

At a conference held in California, Samsung unveiled a new generation of memory chips designed for artificial intelligence systems. The V10 BV-NAND prototype consists of over 400 layers and can store significantly more information compared to its predecessor.

Artificial intelligence systems need to process large volumes of data both during model training and when generating responses for users, which is why demand for fast and energy-efficient memory is growing.

Special attention should be paid to the innovative zHBM technology, which, unlike traditional methods, places memory vertically directly above processors; this reduces data transmission distance, increases energy efficiency threefold, and offers ten times greater density compared to standard memory.

Despite some market concerns about the future demand for smartphones, analysts point to the unusually high demand currently existing in the artificial intelligence sector.
