Sportradar Shares Rise 6% - Partnership with Polymarket Expands

Sportradar's stock rose 6% on Thursday after the company announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Polymarket.

The expanded agreement covers more than 20 international sports leagues and competitions, including:

  • Bundesliga;
  • EuroLeague basketball;
  • Chinese Basketball Association;
  • National Basketball League;
  • All four tennis Grand Slams;
  • UTR Pro events.

The partnership now covers approximately 300,000 matches annually across football, basketball, and tennis.

Under the US market agreement, Sportradar will provide Polymarket with premium sports data, live streaming, and sports integrity monitoring services. This collaboration builds on an existing agreement between the companies that already covered the ATP Tour, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, and Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The services Sportradar provides to Polymarket include premium sports data and real-time odds, audiovisual content, and exclusive streaming rights to ATP Tour, Bundesliga, and EuroLeague matches. Also included are fan engagement tools, marketing services, and sports integrity monitoring through Sportradar UFDS AI and Sportradar Integrity Exchange.

Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl stated that deepening the partnership with Polymarket allows the company to extend its data and technology solutions to a broader range of sports.

According to him, prediction markets represent an additional growth opportunity for the company, and Sportradar is aiming to become a core infrastructure provider for this ecosystem.

The companies plan to further expand the partnership in the future, adding new products, sports properties, and markets.

Polymarket operates in the US as a designated contract market regulated by the CFTC under the Commodity Exchange Act.

Shein's IPO in Hong Kong - the company will be valued at approximately $26.5 billion

Shein is planning to raise approximately $1.7 billion through its Hong Kong IPO, valuing the company at around $26.5 billion. This is significantly lower than its nearly $100 billion private valuation in 2022, reflecting a more cautious approach by investors toward the company's slowing growth, thin margins, regulatory pressure and intensified competition.
