Stellantis is preparing €15,000 electric vehicles for Europe

Stellantis is focusing on small, relatively affordable electric vehicles to boost sales in Europe. At the Paris Motor Show, the company will unveil six of nine new concepts, including the electric Citroën 2CV, which will be one of the main highlights.
The new 2CV will be priced at around €15,000. With this model, Stellantis is aiming to attract buyers for whom new cars have become too expensive in recent years. At the same time, the company will be competing with cheap Chinese electric vehicles in Europe. The 2CV will be produced in Europe, with sales set to begin in 2028.
At the Paris Motor Show, Stellantis will also present the DS7, Fiat Grizzly, Lancia Gamma, and Opel Corsa GSE. Two models developed jointly with China's Leapmotor will be on display as well.
These models are part of an updated plan from Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa. Over the past two years, the company has lost market share in Europe and North America, and its profits have declined. Under the plan announced in May, Stellantis will launch dozens of new models by 2030, cut costs, and expand its cooperation with Chinese companies.
